Darryl E. Robinson started his career path with a choice. Pursue a PhD in finance or a degree in law. His love and passion for both is what has fueled his commitment to upholding justice and fighting for Hyde Park legal clients, families and Chicago IL businesses.
Darryl E. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Detroit-Mercy and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago. His practice is focused on Section 1983 Civil Rights, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense and Business Litigation. Darryl E. Robinson is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, Federal Court of the Northern District of Illinois, Federal Court of the Eastern District of Michigan and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to founding Darryl E. Robinson and Associates, he was a partner in the Law Firm, Robinson, London and Best. Robinson also worked in several professional positions as a product engineer at both Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation. He worked as a legal intern in the Products Liability Division at Ford Motor Company, Torts Division with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and with the personal injury law firm of Susan E. Loggans & Associates.
Over the years, Robinson has been involved in several high profile police brutality cases involving false arrest, bodily injuries, wrongful death and sexual assault. In several cases, police officers were criminally charged with all except one either pleading guilty or being convicted and sentenced to as much as 20 years in prison.
Attorney Darryl E. Robinson serves in many capacities. When he first began his legal career, there were not many African American attorneys he could glean from. When he began in the legal field, he wanted to be a bridge for others. He provides mentorship for young attorneys and advocates for initiatives that encourage community growth.
